Browsing around bookstore in the weekend and came across an illustrated book called "a day, a dog" by Gabrielle Vincent.
I was very impressed by the emotions that conveyed through almost draft/storyboard like sketching of a dog that got abandoned by a family. A impactful way of telling more with less. My recommendation.
BTW, recently, I have become an otaku (introverted fan) of illustrated books for children. I even dream of writing one someday if I can spare my current job.
