There are rumors from aint-it-cool-bnews.com that the next James Cameron project may be "Battle Angel Alita"!! "Battle Angel Alita", which in Hong Kong and Japan is known as Gunnm (or "Gun's Dream) is one of my all time favorite manga.




Its a story of a cyborg girl who was discovered from a junk yard by a professor. During her course of life (in the first series), she met friends and foes, got kicked into battles, adventures, sports, spying. What captive my heart was the gradual maturity of the main character, as well as the contrast of humane vs cruelty in that post-apocalyptic world. The world was in the far future, by the human nature got portraited feels so close... (hey, Singapore, I see you there!)
